About Cofra

For over a decade,
our founder Christina Byrne worked in the oak
furniture industry, watching the same designs circulate between
suppliers. Frustrated by limited choices and repetitive styles, she
dreamed of furniture that blended timeless European
craftsmanship with modern versatility - pieces worth believing in.
So, she went east. Inspired by Europe’s rich design heritage and
sustainable oak forests, Christina partnered with artisans in
Ukraine who share her obsession with quality. Together, these
unlikely allies overcame borders and challenges to prove something
